The Lumy Hair story begins in Qingdao, China in the 1980’s. The founder Ms Wang started to collect human hair from the women who were willing to sell their hair and help to pay the bills. Ms Wang combed those hairs in shape and then sold them to hair extensions factory.

Ms Wang gave everyone a better price than others when she collected the hair. So everyone liked her so much that she decided to open a small hair collection shop, but she eventually gave up her dream of owning her own business in order to raise her two small children.

In 1992, with their children grown, Ms Wang and her husband decided to pack up all of their belongings and move to urban area to make one last attempt at owning their own business. With the last of their savings, they purchased hair equipment and opened her first workshop.

In 1994, through hard work and determination her business grew to a modest size. She got the outsourcing businesses such as hair sterilizing, wig lace hand weaving, and hair bleaching from big hair extensions factories.

In 2004, Ms Wang opened her own hair extensions factory which was able to product most kind of hair extensions. All hair products were sold to overseas through international trading companies.

In 2010, with great foresight and intuition, Ms Wang overcame the language barrier, and she hired English speakers to set up the international sales team.

The Lumy Hair was immediate success and today it is doing big wholesales to the world that share the Ms Wang’s commitment to quality and hard work.
